Who is the world's second most highly cited scientist in the fields of biology and biochemistry

Sir Philip Cohen, Director of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Protein Phosphorylation Unit and Royal Society Research Professor in the School of Life Sciences, Dundee comes second amongst 561,800 biologists and biochemists who published research papers over the ten years between 1992 and 2002. During this period, his research was cited 14,186 times, according to the Philadelphia based Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). www.dundee.ac.uk

Who won the title of Best Emerging Platform Development Studio in Europe 2003

Denki, the Dundee-based computer games firm won the above title for its work with Interactive TV. Denki works extensively for Sky in the UK and has six games on its interactive portal site. Its latest product is a game based on the Hollywood blockbuster film, Hulk. www.denki.co.uk

Professor Eric Wright, a distinguished scientist in molecular and cellular pathology, has re-located to Dundee to continue his research into the mechanics involved in cellular mutation, particularly radiation-induced.
